22"x60" Vintage Old Ornate Decorative Floral Wall Art Decor Panel Metal Pulls Handles Rings

Gorgeous, vintage, ornate wall art salvaged from Northeastern PA. It's made of solid MDF (Medium-density Fiberboard aka engineered wood). 

The back is painted black and has 4 metal sockets which you would use to hang the piece on your wall. You would need to insert 4 screws into your wall and then mount this panel onto those screws. The heads of the screws would firmly hold the panel in place and the only way to remove it would be to lift the panel up and pull it away from the wall. This feature is much better than the traditional string or wire on the back of the frame which is not only less secure, but has much easier to move and cause the piece to look crooked or off-center.

Although the mounting system and condition are great, the main feature of this panel is it's beautiful design. What I really like about it is that the decorations are at the top, middle, and bottom with a blue background to separate the decorative details. This makes the piece less busy and allows it to complement the beauty of your other artwork or furniture rather than being the center of attention. There are 2 metal drop or ring pulls in the center which a nice, realistic touch. These rings make it look like the middle of the panel is a pair of doors that actually open.

Since this panel just hung on a wall for years and had little human interaction, it's in great shape. There are small nicks and scratches here and there (mostly along the edges) which just add to it's aged charm. However, there are no breaks, cracks, gouges, deep scratches, rot, warp, or any other serious issues. The worst blemish is a whitish-colored streak which appears around the center of the piece (see photo). I didn't attempt to wipe it or do anything to make it less noticeable. However, you may have a solution to remove it?
