2 available 30"x77" Antique Vintage Old Salvaged Reclaimed Victorian Interior SOLID Wood Wooden Doors Panel

Elegant, antique, interior doors salvaged from an old, home in    Northeastern PA. They're made of solid Douglas Fir or pine, and are painted white on both sides.

When most people hear "pine" they think of a cheap, weak,   soft wood. New pine hewn from 10 - 20 year old trees don't have    the same insect-resistant, rot-resistant, or even fire-resistant qualities    that old pine, hewn from trees hundreds of years old  have. Old pine is  also   much harder and stronger than young pine.

The doors have a Victorian style, 4-panel arrangement with  4 vertical panels. The panels are raised on both sides.

Hardware: The doors are not equipped with any hardware. However, we have a good selection of period hardware to outfit them (check out our eBay  store).

Uneven Height:
The height of both doors were unevenly cut by 1/4". The cuts were most likely to compensate for a warped  floor or sagging foundation. We could cut the doors to an even height/width, cut them shorter/narrower,  or even build them up to a larger size--email us for a quote.

Condition: The  doors are strong, sturdy, and in great structural condition. They have nicks   and scratches, but no breaks, rot, warp, or any other serious issues.
The worst damage is on Door#1 which has a small break on the bottom hinge  mortise (see 4th photo). Most of the blemishes that the doors have will   disappear after sanding, prior to refinishing or repainting, and whatever  remains will be subtle, "character marks".

Swing: The hinge mortises span the thickness of the doors. As a result,   you could install your hinges on either side of the door(s), allowing you to   define their swing.

Modification: We could also modify the doors to fit your opening or suite your needs. We could make frames, trim or add to the heights or widths, replace panels with glass, plug the hardware holes, etc. Email us with a small description of what  you would like done, and we'll give you a quote.
