36"x79.5"x1.75" Antique Vintage Old Reclaimed Salvaged Oak Wood Wooden Exterior Front Entry Door Window

Robust, antique, exterior door salvaged from an old home in Northeastern, PA. The door has a solid oak core, covered by 1/4" thick oak veneers, and is painted on both sides. It has 3 true-divided windows with 2 long, vertical panels underneath.

Please don't think that "veneer" means inferior quality. Unlike the  paper-thin veneers used on modern doors and furniture, these veneers are  1/8" thick and provide strength and stability to the door. Oak is a very dense wood and the door would've warped long ago if it  weren't for its veneers.

Hardware: The doors don't have any hardware, however, we have a good selection of hardware to outfit them (check out the "Hardware" section of our store).

Condition: The door is strong, sturdy, and in good structural condition. It only has nicks and scratches, but no breaks, cracked joints, gouges, rot, warp, or any other serious  issues. There is a small crack in the veneer in the lower lock stile corner of the front (red) side (see last photo). Most of the blemishes that it has will disappear after sanding, prior to refinishing or repainting, and whatever remains will be subtle, "character marks".

All of the glass is intact and in great condition with only subtle scratches.

Swing: The door is set up to swing into the house towards the left or away from the house towards the right. We can modify it to swing in the opposite direction--message us for a quote.

Modification:  We could also modify these door to fit your opening or suite your needs. We could make a frame, trim or add to the heights or widths, replace glass with mirror or wooden panels, reverse the swings, plug the hardware holes, etc. Email us with a small description of what you would like done, and we'll give you a quote.
