We purchased a box of hardware from a former hardware store in Salem, OR. The box was labeled, "New Old Stock," which means that it was a made decades ago, but never used. Each set looks like it was made during the 1980's or 90's and were made in Hong Kong.

Each set is complete and includes all parts needed to install and use. We didn't receive the original screws so we included some from our collection.

Although the lock casing and catch plate look like brass, they are made of a non-magnetic alloy with a brass-colored paint.

Normally, NOS items look flawless. However, these look used but function like new. Since the parts were stored in a box with other hardware and were shuffled and handled many times over the years, they have nicks, light scratches, and spots of missing paint. However, they function perfectly. We even greased their internal parts for good measure.

Lock: 3 3/8"W x 2 1/2"H x 1"D (depth doesn't include knob or return plate which sticks out 1/4")
