* Although there are 2 doors available, the list price is for 1 door. If you are planning  buying just 1 door please email us after you checkout to let us know which door you'd like.  The first 4 photos show Door#1 and the next 3 show Door#3.

* The last 2 photos show Door#2 cut in half and made into a pair for a customer who wanted to fill a 36"W opening with a pair rather than a single door. We could do this and more to the remaining 2 doors--message us with a description of what you'd like done to get a quote.

Rare,  antique, interior doors  salvaged from an old, bed and  breakfast in Kulpmont, PA. The doors are made of either solid Douglas Fir or pine and are  completely painted. They have an uncommon, Victorian style, 6-panel  arrangement. The  panels are raised on both sides.

When most people hear "pine" they think of a cheap, weak, soft   wood. New pine hewn from 10 - 20 year old trees don't have the same   insect-resistant,  rot-resistant, or even fire-resistant qualities that old   pine, hewn from trees  hundreds of years old have. Old pine is also much harder   and stronger than young  pine.

Hardware: Aside  from a mortise lock, no door is equipped with any hardware. However, we have a good selection of period hardware in our eBay store, and tons more in our physical store.

* If you would like any of the hardware holes plugged with solid wood, email us for a quote.

Quirks & Considerations:
The height of both doors were unevenly cut by 3/8" at some point, most  likely to compensate for the home's settling foundation or a warped floor. We  could cut any door to an even height, cut it narrower and/or shorter, or even build  it up to make it bigger
--email us  for a quote.

Door#1 has a 3/16" wide gap between its top rail and lock stile. The gap is  easily closed  with some glue and pressure. It could be further secured with a  couple of  dowels. We could make this repair--email us  for a quote.

Condition: All doors are strong, sturdy, and in great structural condition. They have nicks, scrapes, scratches,  and small nail holes which you would expect to find on 100+ year-old doors.  However, most of these blemishes will disappear after sanding, prior to refinishing or repainting, and whatever remains will be subtle, "character marks."

Swing:  Both doors are set up to swing into a room, towards the right, or  outwardly (towards you), and end up on your left side. We could change the swing of any door--email us for a quote.

Modification: Do you want to turn these 2 doors into a pair or even 1 of them into a pair (see last 2 photos)? Do you want to replace the panels with glass, screen/mesh, or something else? We could modify the doors to fit your opening or suite your needs. We could make a frame, trim or add to the height or width, reverse the swing, plug the hardware holes, etc. Email us with a small description of what you would like done, and we'll give you a quote.
