32.5"x80.5" Antique Vintage Old Reclaimed Salvaged Wood Wooden Storm Screen Exterior Door Window Glass

Rare, antique, storm door salvaged from an old home in Northeastern PA. The door is  made of Douglas fir or pine and is painted white both sides. The door also has a  raised panel on the exterior side and a recessed (flat) panel on the interior  side.

When most people hear "pine" they think of a cheap, weak, soft wood. New pine  hewn from 10 - 20 year old trees don't have the same insect-resistant,  rot-resistant, or even fire-resistant qualities that old pine, hewn from trees  hundreds of years old have. Old pine is also much harder and stronger than young pine.

The door has a removable window with 12 glass lites.

Hardware: The door is equipped with a complete lock-set.

Condition: The door is strong, sturdy, and in excellent condition. It only has nicks and  scratches, but no breaks, cracks, gouges, rot, warp, or any other serious issues. Most of the blemishes that it has will  disappear after sanding, prior to refinishing or repainting, and whatever remains will be subtle, "character marks."

All of the glass is also intact and in great shape with only subtle scratches.

Swing: The door was installed using surface-mount, strap-hinges. No mortises were cut into  the side of the door, which gives you the opportunity to define its swing.

Strip/Refinish: We could refinish or   partially or completely strip the door to prepare it for you to repaint or    refinish. Modification: We could also modify this door to fit your opening or suite your needs.
