32"x78.5" Antique Vintage Old Reclaimed Salvaged SOLID Wood Wooden Interior Doors 5 Stacked Panels

Elegant, antique interior door salvaged from an old, home in Northeastern  Pennsylvania.  This door was made around the turn of the of the previous century, and was original to the home's construction. It's made of solid Douglas Fir and has 5 raised panels  on both sides. Both sides of the door are painted white.

When most people hear "pine" they think of a cheap, weak, soft   wood. New pine hewn from 10 - 20 year old trees don't have the   same insect-resistant, rot-resistant, or even fire-resistant  qualities that  old pine, hewn from trees hundreds of years old  have. Old pine is also much harder and stronger than young pine

Hardware: The door is not equipped with any hardware. However, we have a good selection of hardware to outfit them (check out our eBay  store).

Uneven Width: The door's width was unevenly cut by 1/4"  The cut was most likely made to accommodate a warped floor or sagging foundation.

We could cut it to an even 31 3/4" or cut it narrower/shorter, or even build it up to be  wider/taller--email us for a quote.

Condition: Considering the door is well over 100 years old, it is strong, sturdy and in good condition. The 2nd panel from the top has a horizontal crack, which is not too deep or wide and could only be seen on one side of the door. Otherwise, the door just has normal nicks and scratches, but no  gouges, rot, warp, or any other serious issues. Most of the blemishes that it has will disappear after sanding, prior to refinishing or repainting, and  whatever remains will be subtle, "character marks"

Swing: The door is set up to swing into a room an end up on your left side or swing away from the room and end up on your right. We can modify it to swing in the opposite direction--email us for a quote.

Modification: We  could also modify the door to fit your opening or suite your needs. We could make a frame(s), trim or add to the heights or  widths, replace panels with glass, reverse the swings, plug the  hardware holes, etc. Email us with a small description of what  you would like done, and we'll give  you a quote.
