32"x78"x1.75" Vintage Antique Old Reclaimed Salvaged Wooden Side Back Exterior Entry Door Window Pane Glass Lite Pane

* The last 5 photos show a door that we stripped, repaired, and refinished to give you an idea how an old, used door like this could clean up. Although we don't refinish anymore, we could modify and repair it--see more details below.

Robust, vintage, exterior door  salvaged from an old home in Northeastern, PA. The door has a solid Douglas fir core with a 1/8" Maple veneer. The door is stained on both sides.

Although this door looks like a newer, lightweight door, it's SOLID wood under the veneers and is very heavy (over 80lbs!).

Please don't think that "veneer" means inferior quality. Unlike the  paper-thin veneers used on modern doors and furniture, these veneers are  1/8" thick and provide strength and stability to the door. Maple is a very dense wood and the door would've warped long ago if it  weren't for its veneers.

The door has a 3 windows with glass, and a flush (plain or flat) design all around.

Hardware: The door is not equipped with any hardware. However, we have a good selection of period hardware to outfit it (check out our store).

Condition: The door is strong, sturdy, and in good structural condition. They only have nicks and scratches, but no broken  or cracked joints, gouges, rot, warp, or any other serious  issues. Most of the blemishes that it has will disappear after sanding, prior to refinishing or repainting, and  whatever remains will be subtle, "character marks".

All of the glass is intact and in great condition with only subtle scratches.

Swing: The door is set up to swing into a home towards the left or away from a home towards the right. We can change the swing of the door-message us for a quote.

Modification:  We could also modify the door to fit your opening or suite your needs. We could make a frame, trim or add to the height or width, replace glass with mirror or wooden panels, reverse the swing, plug the hardware holes, etc. Email us with a small description of what you would like done, and we'll give you a quote.
