32"x79" Antique Vintage Old Salvaged Reclaimed Victorian Stained SOLID Wood Wooden Interior Door 4 Four Raised Panels

Charming, antique door salvaged from an old home in Pottstown, PA. The  door is made of solid Douglas fir or pine, and is stained on both sides. The door has 4 raised panels on both sides.

When most people hear "pine" they think of a cheap, weak, soft   wood.  New pine hewn from 10 - 20 year old trees don't have the    same insect-resistant, rot-resistant, or even fire-resistant  qualities  that  old pine, hewn from trees hundreds of years old  have. Old pine  is also much harder and stronger than young pine.

Hardware: The door is not equipped with hardware. However, we have a good selection of period hardware in our eBay store, and tons more in our physical store.

Uneven Width: The width of the door was unevenly cut by 1/4". The cut was most likely made to  accommodate a warped floor or sagging foundation. We could cut the  door to an even height/width, or cut it narrower/shorter, or even build it up to  be wider/taller--message  us for a quote.

Condition: The door is strong, sturdy, and in great structural condition. It only has nicks   and scratches, but no breaks, cracks, gouges, rot, warp, or any other serious  issues. Most of the blemishes that it has will disappear after sanding, prior to refinishing or repainting, and whatever  remains will be subtle, "character marks."

Swing:  The  door is set up to swing into a room towards the left, or out towards the right. We could change the swing of the door--message us   for a quote

Modification: Do you  want to replace the panels with glass, screen/mesh, or something  else? We could  modify the doors to fit your opening or suite your  needs. We could make a  frame, trim or add to the height or width,  reverse the swing, plug the hardware  holes, etc. Email us with a  small description of what you would like done, and  we'll give you a quote.
