32"x83"x1.75" Antique Vintage Old Reclaimed Salvaged SOLID Wood Entry Doors Window Wavy Glass

Beautiful, antique door salvaged from an old home in Northeastern PA. The door is made of solid Douglas Fir or pine and is stained on the front and painted white on the back.

Today, "pine" is known as a cheap, weak, soft wood. New pine   hewn from 10 - 20 year old trees doesn't have the  same insect-resistant, rot-resistant, or even fire-resistant qualities that  old pine, hewn from trees hundreds of years old has. Old pine is also much  harder and stronger than young  pine.

The door has a window with clear, old glass and 3 raised panels below. 

Hardware: The door is not equipped with any hardware. However, we have a good selection of period hardware to  outfit it (check out the "Hardware" section of our store).

Condition: The door is strong, sturdy, and in great condition. It only has nicks and scratches,  but no rot, warp, broken or cracked joints, or any other serious issues. Most of the blemishes that it has will disappear after sanding, prior to refinishing or repainting, and whatever remains will be subtle, "character marks".

The glass is fully intact and in great shape with only subtle scratches.

Swing: The door is set up to swing into a house towards the left or away from the house towards the right. We could modify it to swing in the opposite direction--message us for a quote.

Modification: We could modify this door to fit your opening or suite your needs. We could trim or add to the height or width, replace glass with mirror or wooden panels, reverse the swing, plug the hardware holes, etc. Email us with a small description of what you would like done, and we'll give you a quote.
