34"x88.5"x1.75" Antique Vintage Old Reclaimed Salvaged SOLID Wood Wooden Exterior French Door Window Wavy Glass

Beautiful, antique, French door salvaged from an old home in Northeastern, PA. The door is made of either solid Douglas for or pine and is completely painted.

The paint on both sides of the door is worn and peeling off. Meaning sanding to re-paint will be very easy.

When most people hear "pine" they think of a cheap, weak, soft wood. New pine  hewn from 10 - 20 year old trees don't have the same insect-resistant,  rot-resistant, or even fire-resistant qualities that old pine, hewn from trees  hundreds of years old have. Old pine is also much harder and stronger than young pine.

The door has an impressive arrangement of 15, true-divided windows with old, wavy glass.


1 window is missing the glass and its interior molding. We could make new molding and replace the missing piece of glass--message us for a quote

Hardware: The door is not equipped with any hardware. However, we have a good selection   of period hardware to outfit it (check out our store).

Condition: The door is strong, sturdy and in great structural condition. It has the typical scrapes,   scratches, and small nail holes that you would expect to find on an old, used door. 

The door has a rotted portion of wood on the bottom of the lock-stile (see last photo). We could cut out this rotted area and replace it with fresh wood. It would be seam-less and unnoticeable after painting--message us for a quote.


Otherwise, there are no broken or cracked joints, gouges, warp or any other serious issues. The small blemishes they have will disappear or diminish drastically after stripping and sanding.

Except the 1 missing glass lite, all of the glass is intact and in great condition with only subtle scratches.

Modification: Do you want to replace the glass with wooden panels, screen/mesh, or something  else? We could modify the door to fit your opening or suite your needs. We could trim or add to the height or width, enlarge the door, etc. Email us with a small description of what you would like  done, and we'll give you a quote.
