35.5"x79"x1.75" Antique Vintage Old Reclaimed Salvaged SOLID Wood Wooden Exterior Entry Door Window

Cool, vintage, wooden door salvaged from an old home in Northeastern PA. It  has a solid pine core covered by 1/16" thick birch veneers. It's about  100 lbs. It is stained and finished (not painted) on both sides.

Today, "pine" is known as a cheap, weak, soft wood. New pine    hewn from 10 - 20 year old trees doesn't have the   same insect-resistant, rot-resistant, or even fire-resistant qualities that   old pine, hewn from trees hundreds of years old has. Old pine is also much   harder and stronger than young  pine.

The door has a single, window with  Plexi glass, and a flush (plain or flat) design all around.

Hardware: The door is not equipped with any hardware.  However,  we have a good selection of period hardware to outfit them (check out  our eBay store).

Condition: The door is strong, sturdy, and in great structural condition. It only has nicks  and scratches, but no breaks, cracks, gouges, rot, warp, or any  other serious  issues. The worst damage on the door is a small break on the  top corner of the interior lock-stile (see last photo). Most of the blemishes that it has will   disappear after sanding, prior to refinishing or repainting, and  whatever  remains will be subtle, "character marks".

All of the glass is intact and also in great shape with only light scratches.

Swing: The door is set up to  swing into the  home towards the right or away towards the left. We could change the swing--message us for a quote.

Modification: Do you want to replace the glass with wooden panels, screen/mesh, or something else? We could modify the door to fit your opening or suite your needs. We could make a frame, trim or add to the height or width, reverse the swing, plug the hardware holes, etc. Email us with a small description of what you would like done, and we'll give you a quote.
