36"x85"x1.75" Antique Vintage Old Reclaimed Salvaged STRIPPED SOLID Wooden Wood Exterior Entry French Door 15 Windows Wavy Glass

Beautiful, antique, French door salvaged from an old home in Northeastern, PA. The door is made of either solid Douglas for or pine and is completely stripped.

Since the door is stripped, this will means the door is prepared and ready to be painted, finished, etc.

When most people hear "pine" they think of a cheap, weak, soft wood. New pine  hewn from 10 - 20 year old trees don't have the same insect-resistant,  rot-resistant, or even fire-resistant qualities that old pine, hewn from trees  hundreds of years old have. Old pine is also much harder and stronger than young pine.

The door has an impressive arrangement of 15, true-divided windows with old, wavy glass.

Hardware: The door does not have any hardware, nor hardware holes.

This gives you a fresh start, allowing you to add hardware and drill your holes anywhere you please.

Quirks & Considerations:

The height of the door was unevenly cut by 1/4". The cut was most likely made to accommodate a warped floor or sagging foundation. We could cut   the door to an even height/width, or cut it narrower/shorter, or even build it up to be wider/taller--message us for a quote.

The door is missing a piece from both the bottom and top rails. We are unsure as to how the pieces disappeared, but we can add fresh, sturdy wood to fill in the missing pieces--message us for a quote.
 

Condition: The door is strong, sturdy and in great structural condition. It has the typical scrapes,   scratches, and small nail holes that you would expect to find on an old, used door. However, there are no broken or cracked joints, gouges, rot, or warp. The small blemishes they have will disappear or diminish drastically after stripping and sanding.

All of the glass is intact and in great condition with only subtle scratches.

Modification: Do you want to replace the glass with wooden panels, screen/mesh, or something  else? We could modify the door to fit your opening or suite your needs. We could trim or add to the height or width, enlarge the door, etc. Email us with a small description of what you would like  done, and we'll give you a quote.
