38"x78"x1.75" Vintage Old Salvaged Reclaimed SOLID Oak Room Divider Wall Panel Stained Glass Window
What a rare find! This gorgeous room divider was installed in the former, "Kildare's Irish Pub," in downtown Scranton, PA. It's made of solid oak (no veneers!) and has 2 windows with leaded, stained, textured, and etched glass. Notice the lovely, orange roundels in the center of each window.
One side of each window has clear Plexiglass for protection. The Plexiglass on one of the windows is cracked (see 4th photo). We can replace the cracked Plexiglass--message us for a quote.
This divider was custom made in 2009 for about 4x what we're selling it for. The pub closed down in 2019.
Since the piece is made of solid oak without veneers, it's really heavy! I'm estimating around 120lbs.
There are 2 holes drilled in the bottom that go through the divider. I'm guessing that these were used to secure furniture like booths and tables to the divider? They could be plugged with solid oak and then just stained to match.
Aside from being used as a divider or wall panel, it could be cut into 2 doors. If you have the space for it, you even put the whole thing on tracks and rollers and use it as sliding door!
Since the divider was used as a stationary object, it had very little human interaction so it's in excellent condition. Expect nicks and scratches, but no breaks, cracks, gouges, rot, or warp.
