46"x81.5"x1.75" Antique Vintage Old Reclaimed Salvaged Victorian Wood Wooden Sliding Pocket Door Panels

Robust, antique, interior pocket door salvaged from an old home in Northeastern, PA. The door is made of solid Douglas fir and has 7 raised panels. The door is painted on both sides.

Although the door was used as a pocket door, it is easy to convert it into a swinging door--message us for a quote.

The door has a faux, quarter sawn, oak paint on one side, and is painted white on the other side.

Hardware: The door is not equipped with any hardware. However, we have a good selection of period hardware to outfit the door (check out our eBay store).

Uneven Height:
The door's height was unevenly cut by 3/8". The cuts were made most likely to compensate for a warped floor or sagging foundation. We could cut the door to an even  height/width, cut it shorter/narrower, or even build it up to a larger size--message us for a quote.

Condition:
The door is strong, sturdy, and in great structural condition. It only has nicks and scratches, but no broken or cracked joints, gouges, rot, warp, or any other serious issues. Most of the blemishes that it has will disappear after sanding, prior to refinishing or repainting, and whatever remains will be subtle, "character marks."

Modification: We could also modify this door to fit your opening or suite your needs. We could make a frame, trim or add to the height or width, make molding, reverse the swing, plug the hardware holes, etc. Email us with a small description of what you would like done, and we'll give you a quote.
