The set was installed in the attic and was original to the home's construction. Each individual panel has louvers with 42 slats in good working condition, without loose flat strips. Shutter set is made of solid pine or Douglas Fir with dark brown stain finish. 2 brass plated metal hinges are on the side of each panel. The set has its original, ornate cast iron latch, but it’s missing the keeper. Please see last picture. Shutter is strong, sturdy, clean, and in good condition. Both panels have nicks, scratches, dark spots, minor cosmetic blemishes.
