Antique Vintage Old Hand Carved Eastlake Victorian SOLID Walnut Wood Wooden Side Dining Accent Chair Floral Fabric

Stunning, solid wood side chair salvaged from Northeastern PA. It was made sometime during the first quarter of the previous century. It's made of solid walnut wood and is completely stained and finished (not painted).

Notice all of the beautiful, Aesthetic (Eastlake) style carvings--all done by hand! The back and seat cushions are upholstered with beige, floral-pattern fabric. The front two legs have white porcelain casters.

Our carpenter inspected the chair from top to bottom, and didn't need to make any repairs or reinforce anything as the chair is strong and sturdy.

If you look at the last photo, you'll notice that the webbing under the seat is detached from the front. It could easily be put back and secured with 2 - 3 tacks or nails, but since we know that we'll have to pack and ship it, it would be best done once the chair has been unpacked so that nothing messes with it. Also, rest assured, the holes in that part of the wood is not rot or termite damage. The webbing has been re-secured many times over the past 100+ years and it just has a lot of small holes.

Overall, the chair is in great condition. Expect nicks, scratches, and spots of worn finish. However, there are no breaks, dents, gouges, rot, or warp. Even the fabric is in great great shape with no rips, tears, or snags.

Chairs with such detailed designs and in such fine condition are quite hard to come by--don't miss out!
