Antique Vintage Old Reclaimed Salvaged Neo Classical Copper Cast Iron Interior Door Lockset Knob Plate Lock

Gorgeous, antique, Neo-Classical, interior door lockset salvaged from Northeastern PA. The set is complete with all parts needed to install and use: 2 knobs, 2 escutcheons, 1  mortise lock, 1 strike plate for the door jamb, 1 spindle with 2  setscrews to connect the knobs, and 8 installation screws to fasten the lock and plates to the door.

The knobs and plates are made of thick, heavy, cast iron and are copper plated.

The lock is reversible and could accommodate the swing of any door.

You could tell that this set was well-maintained over the years because we didn't need to do anything to the parts. They were unpainted and had a nice patina, which only helps to enhance the beauty of the the details.

All parts are in excellent condition with only tiny nicks and light scratches that you would expect to find on old, used hardware.

The lock was opened, inspected, and we sprayed machine oil on and around all parts to facilitate their movement. The inside of the lock is fairly clean considering its age (see close up photo). If you want a key to operate the lock, we could modify an old skeleton key to work with any of these locks for $15/key--email us after you checkout if you are interested.
