Antique Vintage Old SOLID Walnut Wood Wooden Carved Side Dining Accent Desk Chair Fabric Seat

Elegant, antique chair salvaged from an old home in Northeastern PA. It's made of solid, walnut wood and has a fabric upholstered seat.

Two of the spindles in the backrest are also the back legs of the chair--what a cool feature! The 4 spindles in the backrest, the front 2 legs and the 2 vertical stretchers that connect them are all turned (ornate, circular carvings). Also notice the carved motif on the top rail of the arched backrest.

Considering that the chair is 60 - 80 years old, it's in great condition. Our carpenter thoroughly inspected the piece and found no repairs to make, nor anything to reinforce. The chair just has nicks, light scratches, and spots of worn stain and finish--common wear for a chair this old.

The beautiful, beige fabric is not the original, but it still has an old-fashioned design accentuated with a border of round, grommets (tacks). Since it was replaced, it's in excellent condition with no rips or tears and there are no stains or odors.

This chair is strong, sturdy, and ready for a lifetime of service!
