Beautiful, antique doors salvaged from an old, Circa 1900, home in Dickson City, PA. The doors are made of solid Douglas Fir or pine and are completely painted.

Today, "pine" is known as a cheap, weak, soft wood. New pine   hewn from 10 - 20 year old trees doesn't have the  same insect-resistant, rot-resistant, or even fire-resistant qualities that  old pine, hewn from trees hundreds of years old has. Old pine is also much  harder and stronger than young  pine.

The doors have a unique, Victorian style. They have a window with old, Wavy glass. The doors have 1 panel above the glass and 5 panels below the glass (raised on both sides).

Hardware: The doors are not equipped with any hardware. However, we have a good selection of period hardware to outfit them (check out our eBay store).

Condition: The doors are strong, sturdy, and in excellent condition. They only have nicks and scratches, but no broken or cracked joints, gouges, rot, warp, or any other serious issues. Most of the blemishes that they have will disappear after sanding, prior to refinishing or repainting, and  whatever  remains will  be subtle, "character marks".

All of the glass is intact and in great shape with only subtle scratches.

Swing: Door#1 is set up to swing into a home towards the left, or away from the home towards the right. Door#2 swings in the opposite direction. We could modify either door to swing in the opposite direction--Message us for a quote.

Modification: Want to use 2 of these doors to make a pair? Do you want to replace the glass with another type of glass? Do you need a door taller/shorter or wider/narrower? Do you want to change the swing or just plug the hardware holes with solid wood so that you could install your own hardware? Email us with a small description of what you would like done, and we'll give you a quote.
