Lovely, vintage sink and cabinet salvaged from a circa 1900 home in Dickson City, PA. Although the home that it came from was about 120 years old, this was found in the addition that was added to the home sometime during the middle of the previous century.

Both the sink and cabinet are made of steel, but the sink's steel is much more substantial than the cabinet. The sink is also porcelain enameled.

Condition: The owners of the home took good care of all of their belongings and this sink/cabinet are no exception. Considering that it was used daily for decade, it's in great shape. Except for one small chip in the porcelain on the right edge (see close up), all of the porcelain is intact. That small spot could be concealed by applying some glossy white paint. We didn't clean the sink prior to taking the photos, and it looks great as is; imagine how much nicer it will look after a thorough cleaning. There is some rust along the bottom edges of the holes where the pipes/faucets were connected. However, it's light and could be sanded off.

The cabinet is straight and sturdy and all of the doors and drawers open and close with ease. You could see some light, superficial rusting in various places--the worst is in the base plate of the center compartment where the pipes ran through (see last photo). All of this could be sanded off and painted over.

Both the sink and cabinet are ready for another lifetime of service.
