Pair 5"x5" NOS Antique Vintage Old "Corbin" SOLID Cast Bronze Ball Tip Finial Exterior Entry Door Ball Bearing Hinges Screws

Gorgeous, rare, heavy-duty, antique door hinges made by, "P.F. Corbin Mfg. Co." of New Britain, CT. They were made sometime during the first half of the previous century. We found them in their original box and with 12, bronze, flathead screws. We will add 8 more screws from our collection. They will most likely not be solid bronze, but they will be the correct length and thickness.

These hinges are almost twice as thick as standard interior door hinges. They also have ball bearings so that they will open/close smoothly even if hung on a very heavy door (100+ lbs)

These are considered, "New Old Stock,"  because they were made decades ago but were never used. As a result, they are in excellent condition with no flaws to report. Just expect light scratches and tiny nicks from being shuffled around over the years.

Unlike the hinges made today, which you could buy at your local hardware store; these hinges are MUCH thicker, heavier, and stronger. They are made of pure, solid, forged bronze, not a cheap composite or alloy, and were built to last a lifetime. If you are planning on using these hinges to hang a new door, it's a very good chance that you'll end up replacing the door before the hinges!
