Pair Antique Vintage Old SOLID Cast Bronze Russell Erwin Victorian Eastlake Doorknob Door Knobs

The last photo shows a lockset we had and cleaned years ago. It shows you how a complete lockset with the same pattern as these knobs looks like. Exquisite, original, antique door knobs made by, "Russell & Erwin Mfg. Co." of New Britain, CT during late 1800's. Both knobs are made of solid, heavy, thick, cast bronze. The pair comes with a standard-size, square, steel spindle and 2 setscrews to connect the knobs.

Each knob has an intricate, Eastlake (Aesthetic) style pattern on both front and back sides. Knobs with designs along the bottom were only produced during the late 1800's.

The beauty of the details are accented by a rich patina. If you prefer a clean, shiny look, you could remove the patina with "Brasso" and some #0000 steel wool. One knob had some beige colored paint that we removed for the most part.

Considering that the knobs are 130 - 140 years old, they are in amazing condition! They have NO breaks, cracks, chips, dents, deep scratches, gouges, or any object stuck inside which would rattle when moved. Just expect tiny nicks and light scratches.
