Small 9" Round Vintage Old Solid Wood Wooden Foot Step Stool Plant Stand Side Accent Chair Seat Handmade Hand Painted Milk Jug

Adorable, vintage stool salvaged from Northeastern Pennsylvania. It's made of solid pine and is painted a dark green color. The top is round and has 3 faceted legs. There is a lovely hand-painted milk jug in the center of the top.

The former owner was also the builder and did a fine job! Considering he cut the top freehanded, is pretty impressive. You could easily tell it's not a perfect circle and if this were done by a machine it would be considered a mistake. However, these sort of imperfections or quirks are what give handmade furniture a unique style and character--every piece is a one-of-a-kind!

The artist/builder wrote his initials and date of completion under the stool: 12-25-98. It's even more cool to think that this was a Christmas present--way better than a pair of socks!

Our carpenter inspected the piece and said that the legs are tight, and there are no weak spots what-so-ever. This stool is strong, sturdy, and ready for another lifetime of service!

It could be used indoors and outdoors. It could be used as a stool for gardening or milking your cow, or even as a plant stand.
