Lovely, vintage kitchen table or microwave stand salvaged from Central Connecticut. Except for the top which is veneered with Formica, the piece is made of SOLID (no veneers) pine and has a medium-dark stain color.
Considering that the piece is about 20 - 30 years old, it is in excellent structural condition. Our carpenter thoroughly inspected it and found no repairs to make nor any joints to reinforce. The drawer slides in and out with ease.
Cosmetically, it has the typical nicks, scratches, and spots of worn finish here and there that you would expect to find on a piece this old. However, there are no breaks, rot, warp, or any other serious flaws. The Formica is also very clean considering it's age; no deep scratches, stains, or marks. The table is strong, sturdy, and is ready for another lifetime of service!
