Vintage Quoizel Inc 1973 Table Lamp 3 Way Hand Painted Glass Floral Sand Color Silver Solder GWTW Hurricane Mellow Shape Ornate Brass Base

This listing is for a vintage GWTW style Quoizel desk/ table lamp. It features footed ornate antique brass base, glass body, and hurricane glass shade. Lampshade and body have melon shape. Both are hand painted with red, blue flowers, brown and green leaves with silver solder accents on sand gold color background. Glass shade displays scalloped edge and a glass ring under top. Brass plated metal socket holder is adorned with open cut work design adding a special touch to this lovely piece. The lamp is engaged by a turnkey knob and has 3 levels of brightness. One turns light on bottom, a second turn slight on top, and the third turns lights both top and bottom. This lamp takes 3way bulb on top (not included) and a night light size bulb on bottom(included). All electric parts are in good working condition. QUOIZEL Inc.1973/1961- 4 1/8”is stamped on the bottom brass base.

Overall measures approx..: 18 1/2” H (with lampshade) x 10” W.

Lamp is in good vintage condition with insignificant sign of wear and age. All metal parts (base, metal basket holding the socket, key, metal rim holding the shade) are in great shape with natural patina. There are no dents or breaks on metal parts. A small light brown paint mark inside glass shade(top). Please see last picture. No cracks on glass. Bottom of the shade has a slight rough edge with few tiny chips. They do not show nor detract from the beauty of this shade.
