Handsome, interior doors salvaged from an old home in  Central NJ. The doors are made of either solid Douglas Fir or pine.  All doors are  completely painted white. They have a traditional, Arts & Crafts style design with  single  recessed (flat) panels on both sides.

When most people hear "pine" they think of a cheap, weak, soft   wood. New pine hewn from 10 - 20 year old trees don't have the same  insect-resistant, rot-resistant, or even fire-resistant qualities that old   pine, hewn from trees hundreds of years old have. Old pine is also much harder  and stronger than young  pine.

Hardware: The  doors are not equipped with any hardware. However, we have a good selection of period hardware to outfit them (check out our eBay store).

Condition: Both doors are strong, sturdy, and in excellent structural condition. They have  the typical nicks, scrapes, and  scratches, which  will disappear after sanding, prior to refinishing or repainting, and whatever  remains will be subtle, "character marks." There are no breaks,  cracks, rot, warp, or any serious issues. The doors are very well-built and are ready for another lifetime of service.

Refinish/Repaint: We could refinish, repaint, or partially or completely strip the doors to prepare it for you to repaint or refinish. We have hundreds of photos of doors we've worked on over the years for reference. Email us with a small description of what you would like done, and we'll give you a quote.

Swing: Door#1  is set up to swing into a room towards the left, or away from the room  towards the right; Door#2 swings towards the right. We could change the  swing of any door--email us for a quote.

Modification:  Do you want to turn these 2 doors into a pair? Do you want to replace the panels with glass, screen/mesh, or something else? We could modify the doors to fit your opening or suite your needs. We could make a frame, trim or add to the height or width, reverse the swing, plug the hardware holes, etc. Email us with a small description of what you would like done, and we'll give you a quote.
