24"x77.5" Antique Vintage Old Reclaimed Salvaged SOLID Wooden Interior Pantry Door Single Panel

Handsome, antique, interior door salvaged from an old, home in Wilkes-Barre, PA. The  door is made of solid Douglas Fir or pine, and is stained on both sides. It has a single, recessed (flat) panel on both sides.

When most people hear "pine" they think of a cheap, weak, soft wood. New pine hewn from 10 - 20 year old trees don't have the   same insect-resistant, rot-resistant, or even fire-resistant  qualities that  old pine, hewn from trees hundreds of years old  have. Old pine is also much harder and stronger than young pine

Hardware: The door is not equipped with any hardware. However, we have a good selection of hardware to outfit them (check out the "Hardware" section of our store).

Condition: The door is strong, sturdy, and in excellent structural condition. It only has  nicks and scratches, but no breaks, cracks, gouges, rot, warp, or any other serious issues. Most of the blemishes that it will disappear after sanding, prior to refinishing or repainting, and  whatever remains will be subtle, "character marks ".

Swing: The door is set up to swing into a room towards the left, or away from the room towards the right. We could change the swing--message us for a quote.

Modification: We  could also modify the door to fit your opening or suite your  needs. We could make a frame, trim or add to the height or width, replace the panel with glass, plug the hardware holes, etc. Email us with a small description of what  you would like done, and we'll give  you a quote.
