Handsome, antique window salvaged from an old home in Northeastern Pennsylvania. The frame is made of either solid pine or Douglas Fir and features 2, true-divided, arched glass lites.

When most people hear "pine" they think of a cheap, weak, soft wood. New pine hewn from 10 - 20 year old trees don't have the same insect-resistant, rot-resistant, or even fire-resistant qualities that old pine, hewn from trees hundreds of years old have. Old pine is also much harder and stronger than young pine.

Hardware: Since this was installed as a single, stationary window, it didn't slide or swing. It just remained in one place it's whole life so it has no hardware.

Condition: The glass is completely intact and in great shape with no flaws to report. It's secured to the frame with glazier's putty. The putty is also completely intact and in great shape. The glass is held tightly in place and doesn't jiggle or move if you shake the window.

The frame itself is also in very good condition with only the common nicks and scratches.

Since the window is in such good condition, it could be installed in a wall, and isn't limited to just being used for decoration.
