26"x78.5"x1.5" Antique Vintage Old Reclaimed Salvaged Wooden Interior French Door Window Wavy Glass

Beautiful, antique, French, door salvaged from an old home in Brooklyn, NY. The door is made of solid Douglas Fir and is painted on both sides.

The door has an impressive arrangement of 10, true-divided windows with original, wavy, glass (1 pane is cracked).

Hardware: The door is not equipped with any  hardware. However, we have a good  selection of  period hardware to outfit  it (check out our eBay  store).

Uneven Height: The height of the door was unevenly cut by 1/2". The cut was made most likely to compensate for a warped floor or sagging foundation. We could cut the door to an even height, cut it shorter/narrower, or even build it up to be taller/wider--message us for a quote.

Condition: The door is strong, sturdy and in great structural condition. It has the typical scrapes, scratches, and small nail holes that you would expect to find on an old, used door. However, there are no serious breaks, cracks, gouges, rot, or warp. There are a couple small chips on the side of the door (see last photo). The small blemishes they have will disappear or diminish drastically after stripping and sanding.

All of the glass is intact and are in great condition with only subtle scratches.

Swing: The hinge mortises span the thickness of the door allowing you to define its swing and install your hinges on either side.

Modification: Do  you want to replace the  glass with wooden panels, screen/mesh, or something  else? We could modify the door to fit your opening or suite your needs. We could  make a frame, trim or add to the height or width, reverse the swing, plug the  hardware holes, etc. Email us with a small description of what you would like  done, and we'll give you a quote.
