27.5"x81" Antique Vintage Old Reclaimed Salvaged Victorian Interior SOLID Wood Wooden Door 6 Panels

Handsome, antique, interior door salvaged from an from an old,  home in Northeastern PA. It's made of solid Douglas Fir or  pine, and is painted white on both sides.

When most people hear "pine" they think of a cheap, weak, soft   wood. New pine   hewn from 10 - 20 year old trees don't have   the same insect-resistant, rot-resistant, or even fire-resistant  qualities   that  old pine, hewn from trees hundreds of years old  have. Old pine is also   much harder and stronger than young pine.

The door has a unique, Victorian style six panel design.

Hardware: The door is not equipped with any hardware. However,  we have a good selection of  period hardware to outfit them (check out our eBay  store).

Condition: The door is strong, sturdy, and in great structural condition. it only has nicks  and scratches, but no broken or cracked joints, gouges, rot, warp, or any other serious issues. Most of the blemishes that it has will  disappear after sanding, prior to refinishing or repainting, and  whatever remains will be subtle, "character marks".

Swing: The door is set up to swing into a room towards the left or away from a room  towards the right. We can change the swing---Message us for a quote.

Modification: We could also modify the door to fit your opening or suite your  needs. We could make a frame, trim or add to the height or width, replace panels with glass, plug the  hardware holes, etc. Email us with a small description of what  you would like done, and we'll give you a quote.
