Beautiful, antique, French, door salvaged from an old home in Northeastern PA. The door is made of solid Douglas Fir and is painted on one side and has a worn stain on the other side.

The door has an impressive arrangement of 10, true-divided windows with original, wavy, glass.

The door is missing a piece of wood from the top cross-rail. We can fill the hole with fresh wood--message us for a quote.

Hardware: Strangely, the door doesn't have any hardware holes whatsoever. This is great because it allows you to outfit the door with whatever hardware you went, then drill the holes to match them. We have a good selection of  period hardware to outfit the door (check out our online store).

Condition: The door is strong, sturdy and in great structural condition. It has the typical scrapes, scratches, and small nail holes that you would expect to find on an old, used door. However, there are no serious breaks, cracks, gouges, rot, or warp. Otherwise, the small blemishes they have will disappear or diminish drastically after stripping and sanding.

All of the glass is intact and is in great condition with only subtle scratches.

Modification: Do  you want to replace the  glass with wooden panels, screen/mesh, or something  else? We could modify the door to fit your opening or suite your needs. We could trim or add to the height or width, reverse the swing, plug the  hardware holes, etc. Email us with a small description of what you would like  done, and we'll give you a quote.
