3.5"x15" HEAVY! 3 lbs Antique Vintage Old Reclaimed Salvaged SOLID Cast Brass Patina Swinging Door Push Cover Plate Escutcheon

Rare, robust, antique, solid brass push plate salvaged from an old building in Chicago, IL. This is the heaviest push plate I have ever had! It's nearly 1/4" thick and weighs OVER 3lbs! We're including the 7 brass installation screws that the plate was originally installed with.

The plate has rounded corners and edges.

It has a rich, dark, original patina (tarnish). If you prefer your hardware bright and shiny, this is easy to achieve with some "BRASSO" and #0000 grade steel wool.

Considering that the piece was probably touched thousands of times, it is in excellent condition. Expect light scratches and tiny nicks, but no breaks, cracks, chips, dents, or gouges. The plate is ready for another lifetime of service.

We don't normally sell push plates for this price, but this one is exceptional. When you grab and feel the heft and quality, you'll feel it was worth every penny you spent!
