3 avail 30x78" Antique Vintage Old Reclaimed Salvaged Victorian Interior Wood Wooden Doors 5 Panels

Elegant, antique interior doors salvaged from an old home in Ashland, PA. The doors are made of solid Douglas fir or pine and have 5 raised panels on both sides. All of the doors are stained on both sides (except Door#1 which is stained on one side and painted on the other side.)

When most people hear "pine" they think of a cheap, weak, soft   wood. New pine hewn from 10 - 20 year old trees don't have   the same insect-resistant, rot-resistant, or even fire-resistant qualities   that old pine, hewn from trees hundreds of years old  have. Old pine is also   much harder and stronger than young pine.

Hardware: No hardware  included, however, we have a good selection of period hardware in our eBay store, and tons more in our  physical store.

Uneven Size: The height of Door#2 was unevenly cut 1/2".  The cuts were most likely made to accommodate a warped floor or sagging foundation. We could cut any  of the doors to an even height/width, or cut them narrower/shorter, or even build them up to be wider/taller--message us for a quote.

Condition:  The doors are strong, sturdy, and in great structural condition. They have nicks and scratches, but no broken or cracked joints, rot, warp, or any other  serious issues. Doors#1 & #2 each have a small break on a corner of the door (see photos#4 & #8). Most of the blemishes that they have will disappear after sanding, prior to refinishing or repainting, and whatever remains will be subtle, "character marks".

Modification: Want to use 2 of these doors to make a pair? Do you want to replace any of the wooden panels with glass? Do you need a door taller/shorter or wider/narrower? Do you want to change the swing or just plug the hardware holes with solid wood so that you could install your own hardware? Email us with a small description of what you would like done, and we'll give you a quote.
