5 available Antique Vintage Old Reclaimed Salvaged Interior Egg Dart Brass Steel Door Lockset Knob Plate Lock

* Since it takes us about 1 - 1.5 hours to clean each set, we just cleaned one. If you are buying more than 1 set, please allow us a day or two to get them cleaned; shipping will not be same day as ordered.

Elegant, antique, interior door sets salvaged from Northeastern Pennsylvania. We removed some doors from a late 1800's Victorian home in Carbondale, PA and these sets were installed on those doors. Although these sets are not as old as the doors, they are at least 80 - 100 years old.

Each set consists of 2 steel knobs, 2 stamped steel escutcheons, 1 steel mortise lock, 1 steel strike plate for the door jamb, 1 spindle with 2 setscrews, and 12 installation screws to fasten the parts to the door.

Originally, the knobs and plates were copper and brass plated. Since the copper was applied after the brass, most of copper is gone, but much of the brass remains.

All parts are in excellent condition. Expect nicks and scratches, typical wear for old, used hardware, but no breaks, cracks, chips, or gouges.

The locks were opened, inspected, and  we sprayed grease on and around all parts to facilitate their movement.  The insides of the locks are fairly clean considering their age (see close  up photo). If you want a key to operate the lock, we could modify an old skeleton key  to work with the lock for $15/key--email us after the auction if you are interested.
