30"x80" Vintage Old Reclaimed Salvaged Victorian New/Old Stock SOLID Wood Wooden Interior Door Panel

Charming, vintage, New-Old Stock door. The door is made of solid Douglas fir or pine, and is completely stripped. The door has 6 raised panels on both sides.

When most people hear "pine" they think of a cheap, weak, soft   wood.  New pine hewn from 10 - 20 year old trees don't have the    same insect-resistant, rot-resistant, or even fire-resistant  qualities  that  old pine, hewn from trees hundreds of years old  have. Old pine  is also much harder and stronger than young pine.

The door was made during the 1960's, and never sold to any customer. Since it didn't sell, it never got painted or stained, and is in excellent condition

Hardware: The door is not equipped with hardware. However, we have a good selection of period hardware in our eBay store, and tons more in our physical store.

Condition: The door is strong, sturdy, and in excellent condition. It only has nicks and scratches, but no broken or cracked joints, gouges, rot, warp, or any other serious issues. Most of the blemishes that it has will disappear after sanding, prior to refinishing or repainting, and whatever  remains will be subtle, "character marks."

Swing: The door is set up to swing into a room towards the right, or away from the room towards the left. We could modify the door to swing in the opposite direction--message us for a quote.

Modification: Do you  want to replace the panels with glass, screen/mesh, or something  else? We could  modify the doors to fit your opening or suite your  needs. We could make a  frame, trim or add to the height or width,  reverse the swing, plug the hardware  holes, etc. Email us with a  small description of what you would like done, and  we'll give you a quote.
