30"x84"x1.75" Antique Vintage Old Reclaimed Salvaged SOLID Wood Wooden French Door Window Wavy Glass

Handsome, antique,  French door salvaged from an old home in Northeastern PA. The door has a solid pine core covered with 1/8" thick oak veneers on each side.

Please don't think that "veneer" means inferior quality. Unlike the  paper-thin veneers used on modern doors and furniture, these veneers are 1/8" thick and provide strength and stability to the door.

It has a beautiful arrangement of  6, true-divided windows  with extra thick, 3/16" glass.

Hardware: The door is not equipped with any hardware. However, we  have a good selection of period hardware to outfit it (check out our eBay  store).

Condition: The door is strong,   sturdy, and in excellent condition. It only has nicks and scratches, but no rot,  warp, broken or cracked joints or any other serious issues. The worst flaw on  this door is a small break on the lock housing (see last photo). Most of  the blemishes that it has will disappear  after sanding, prior to refinishing or repainting, and whatever remains will be  subtle, "character marks".

All of the glass is also intact and in great shape with  only subtle scratches.

Strip/Refinish: We could      strip/refinish, or partially or completely strip the door to prepare it for you   to repaint or refinish. We  have MANY photos of doors that we've restored that could give you an idea of   how this door could clean up. Email us with a  small description of what you would like done, and we'll   give you a quote.

Swing: The door is set up to swing into a home towards the right or away from the home   towards the left. We could change it to swing in the opposite direction--Message  us for a quote.

Modification: We could also modify this door to fit your  opening or suite your needs. We could make a frame, trim or add to  the height or width, replace glass with mirror or wooden panels, reverse the swing, plug the hardware holes, etc. Email us  with a small description of what you would like done, and we'll give you a  quote.
