30"x95"x1.75" Antique Vintage Old Reclaimed Salvaged French Wood Wooden Door Window Beveled Glass Lites

Strong, antique,  interior, French door salvaged from an old home in Northeastern Ohio. The door  is made of solid Douglas Fir and features 15 beveled, glass lites.

Unfortunately, 1 of the glass lites is cracked. However, we can order a new  beveled glass lite and install it --Email us for a quote.

Hardware: The door is not equipped with any hardware. However, we have a good selection of period hardware to outfit the door (check out our eBay store).

Condition: There is no lock mortise cut into the edge of the  lock stile. As a result, you have the opportunity to cut and create and lock  mortise for any lock you wish!
 
On the exterior side of the door, one of the mullions, the bottom rail, and the  bottom of the lock stile are chipped.

On the interior side of the door, one of the mullions is broken; and there is a  break in the bottom of the lock stile.

Otherwise, this door is in very good shape with only surface scrapes,  scratches, small nail holes--minor cosmetic blemishes which would be removed  during the finishing process or covered if painted.

Quirks & Considerations: There is a strip of wood added the edge  of the lock stile that adds approx. 3/4" to the width. If you do not plan on  keeping the strip of wood attached, it can be easily removed.

Refinish/Repaint: We could refinish, repaint, or partially or completely strip the door to prepare it for you to repaint or refinish. See the last photos in this auction as an example of our work. Email us with a small description of what you would like done, and we'll give you a quote.

Swing: The hinge mortises span the thickness of the door. As a  result, you have the opportunity to install hinges on either side and define its  swing.

Modification: We could also modify this door to fit your opening or suite your needs. We could make a frame, trim or add to the height or width, plug the hardware holes, etc. Email us with a small description of what you would like done, and we'll give you a quote.
