31x76" Antique Vintage Old Salvaged Reclaimed SOLID Wood Wooden Entry Door 5 Panels NO GLASS

Glamorous, antique door salvaged from an old home in Northeastern PA. The door is made of solid Douglas Fir or pine and is painted white on the exterior side and has a worn stain & finish on the interior side.

Because the paint on the exterior side of the door is such a thin layer and the stain/finish on the interior side is worn, it'll make sanding & refinishing/repainting way easier.

Today, "pine" is known as a cheap, weak, soft wood. New pine   hewn from 10 - 20 year old trees doesn't have the  same insect-resistant, rot-resistant, or even fire-resistant qualities that  old pine, hewn from trees hundreds of years old has. Old pine is also much  harder and stronger than young pine.

The door has a window without any glass and 5 panels below the window on both sides. Would you like us to replace the missing glass--Message us for a quote

Hardware: The door is not equipped with any hardware. However, we have a good selection of period hardware to outfit it (check out our eBay store).

Quirks & Considerations:

The door is missing all of its molding on the interior side ONLY.
This is not a big issue as we can replace the molding and add new glass to fill the window--message us for a quote

The door's height  was unevenly cut by 3/8". The cut was most likely made to compensate for a settling foundation or an old warped floor. We could cut the door to an even 75 3/4", cut it shorter or narrower, and we could also add wood to it to make it taller or wider to fit your opening--message us for a quote.

Condition: The door is strong, sturdy, and in great structural condition. It only has nicks and scratches, but no broken or cracked joints, gouges, rot, warp, or any other serious issues. Most of the blemishes that it has will disappear after sanding, prior to refinishing or repainting, and  whatever  remains will  be subtle, "character marks".

All of the glass is intact and in great shape with only subtle scratches.

Swing: The hinge mortises span the thickness of the door, allowing you to define its swing by installing your hinges on either side.

Modification: We could also modify this door to fit your opening or suite your needs. We can trim or add to the height or width, add screen or glass to the empty window, plug the hardware holes, etc. Email us with a small  description  of what you would like done, and we'll give you a quote.
