31"x76" Antique Vintage Old SOLID Wood Wooden Exterior French Door Window Glass

Beautiful, antique, French, swinging door salvaged from an old home in Pottstown, PA. The door is made of solid Douglas Fir and is stained on both sides.

The door has an impressive arrangement of 10, true-divided windows with original, glass (4 panes are missing).

Hardware: The door is not equipped with any  hardware. However, we have a good  selection of  period hardware to outfit  it (check out our eBay  store).

Uneven Size:
The height and width of the door were unevenly cut by 1/4". The cuts were made most likely to compensate for a warped floor or sagging foundation. We could cut the door to an even height/width, cut it shorter/narrower, or even build it up to a larger size--message us for a quote.

Condition: The door is strong, sturdy and in great structural condition. It has the typical scrapes, scratches, and small nail holes that you would expect to find on an old, used door. However, there are no serious breaks, cracks, gouges, rot, or warp. The worst damage on the door is a break on the top corner of the interior side of the hinge-stile (see last photo). The small blemishes they have will disappear or diminish drastically after stripping and sanding.

Besides the 4 missing glass lites, the 6, intact, glass lites are in great condition with only subtle scratches.

Modification: Do  you want to replace the  glass with wooden panels, screen/mesh, or something  else? We could modify the door to fit your opening or suite your needs. We could  make a frame, trim or add to the height or width, reverse the swing, plug the  hardware holes, etc. Email us with a small description of what you would like  done, and we'll give you a quote.
