31"H Antique Vintage Old Salvaged Reclaimed 1932 White Porcelain Cast Iron Pedestal Bathroom Sink Art Deco Style

Handsome, antique, pedestal sink salvaged from Northeastern, PA. It's made of solid, heavy cast iron and is completely enameled with white porcelain.

There is a stamp under the sink which I'm assuming is the date it was made: "2 19 32" and the number "76" which I'm assuming indicates it was the 76th sink produced that day.

The pedestal weighs about 35 lbs and the sink is about 65 lbs.

Hardware: The chrome-plated fixtures shown in the photos are included. They are modern and are functional, but I would replace them with something classic to match the sink. We have plenty of old plumbing fixtures--message us if you are interested.

The drain plug is also modern and needs to be replaced because the stem (arm) which activates it is broken.

Condition: I have seen hundreds of old sinks since I started back in 2003 and I could tell you this sink is in fantastic condition. ALL of the porcelain is intact, which is quite rare. You could see many surface-level blemishes: stains, gray smudges, light scratches, black streaks, etc. All of these will be removed after a thorough cleaning. My wife used to clean the sinks I would pick up when we had a location with a water source. She has cleaned sinks that were rusty and filled with many blemishes and the porcelain cleaned up to a brilliant, bright white, so this sink will look like new once cleaned.

Even the visible cast iron under the sink and inside of the pedestal is also quite clean, with only some light rust around the edges.

The sink came from a clean old home in the countryside. The guy who sold it to me was renovating his parents home and he told me how well they took care of everything in their home. The condition of this sink attests to that. It's elegant in design and built to last indefinitely--don't miss out!
