Beautiful, antique door salvaged from an old home in Northeastern PA. The door is made of solid Douglas Fir or pine and is stained on both sides.

Today, "pine" is known as a cheap, weak, soft wood. New pine   hewn from 10 - 20 year old trees doesn't have the same insect-resistant, rot-resistant, or even fire-resistant qualities that  old pine, hewn from trees hundreds of years old has. Old pine is also much harder and stronger than young pine.

The door has a window with a single glass lite. The door has 1 panel above the glass and 3 panels below the glass. All panels are raised on both sides.

Hardware: The door is not equipped with any hardware. However, we have a good selection of period hardware to outfit it (check out our eBay store).

Quirks & Considerations:
The door has 3, thin, 1/8" thick gaps (see 4th photo). This is not a serious issue and the door can still be installed and used for decades without the gaps widening. However, we could close the gaps using clamps and reinforce/secure using modern glue and some dowels (wooden joints)--message us for a quote.

Condition: The door is strong, sturdy, and in great structural condition. It only has nicks and scratches, but no broken or cracked joints, rot, warp, or any other serious issues. The door has a small break on the lock-stile (see last photo). Most of the blemishes that it has will disappear  after sanding, prior to refinishing or repainting, and  whatever remains will  be subtle, "character marks".

The glass is intact and in great shape with only subtle scratches.

Swing: The door is set up to swing into home towards the left, or away from a home towards the right. We could modify the door to swing in the opposite direction--message us for a  quote.

Modification: We could also modify this door to fit your opening or suite your needs. We could  make  a frame, trim or add to the height or width, replace glass with screen, reverse   the swing, plug the hardware holes, etc. Email us with a small  description  of what you would like done, and we'll give you a quote.
