Sturdy, antique, exterior door salvaged from an old home in Northeastern, PA. The door is made of solid pine or Douglas Fir and is completely painted white.

Today, "pine" is known as a cheap, weak, soft wood. New pine   hewn from 10 - 20 year old trees doesn't have the  same insect-resistant, rot-resistant, or even fire-resistant qualities that  old pine, hewn from trees hundreds of years old has. Old pine is also much  harder and stronger than young  pine.

The door has a window with clear, old glass and 3 raised panels below.

Hardware: The door does not come with any hardware. However, we have a good selection of period hardware to it (check out the "Hardware" section of our store).

* If you would like any of the hardware holes plugged with  solid wood, please email us for a quote.

Swing: The door is set up to swing into the house towards the left or away from the house towards the right. We could modify the door to swing in the opposite direction--message us for a quote.

Height: The door's height was unevenly cut in order to compensate for a warped floor or leaning foundation. We could cut it to an even 78 7/8" or shorter, or we could even build it up to make it taller--message us for a quote.

Condition: This door is strong, sturdy, and in excellent condition. There are no breaks, cracks, gouges, rot, warp, etc. Expect nicks, scrapes, and scratches--blemishes that will sand out prior to refinishing or repainting. The glass is also fully intact and in great shape. The door is ready for another lifetime of service.
