32"x83.5" Antique Vintage Old Reclaimed Salvaged Interior SOLID Wood Wooden Swinging Door 5 Panels

Elegant, antique door salvaged from an old home in Northeastern PA. The door is made of solid Douglas fir or pine and has 5 recessed (flat) panels on both sides. The door is stained on both sides.

When most people hear "pine" they think of a cheap, weak, soft  wood. New pine hewn from 10 - 20 year old trees don't have  the same insect-resistant, rot-resistant, or even fire-resistant qualities  that old pine, hewn from trees hundreds of years old  have. Old pine is also  much harder and stronger than young pine.

Hardware: The door is not equipped with any hardware. However, we have a good selection of hardware to outfit it (check out our eBay  store).

Uneven Width:

The width of the door was unevenly cut by 1/4". The cuts were most likely made to accommodate a warped floor or sagging foundation. We could cut the door to an even 31 1/2", or cut it narrower/shorter, or even build it up to be wider/taller--message us for a quote.

Condition: The door is strong, sturdy, and in great structural condition. It only has nicks  and scratches, but no broken  or cracked joints, gouges, rot, warp, or any other  serious issues. Most of the blemishes that it has will  disappear after sanding, prior to refinishing or repainting, and  whatever  remains will be subtle, "character marks".

Modification: We could also modify this door to fit your opening or suite your needs. Trim or add to the height or width, replace wooden panels with glass, plug the hardware holes, etc. Email us with a small description of what you would like done, and we'll give you a quote.
