33.5"x78"x1.75" Antique Vintage Old Reclaimed Salvaged Interior SOLID Wood Wooden Door Panel

Handsome, interior door salvaged from an old home in Northeastern PA. It's made of white pine and has 5 raised, horizontal, stacked panels on both sides. The door is stained on one side and painted white on the other.

When most people hear "pine" they think of a cheap, weak, soft wood. New pine hewn from 10 - 20 year  old trees don't have the same  insect-resistant, rot-resistant, or even  fire-resistant qualities that old pine, hewn from trees hundreds of years old have. Old pine is  also much  harder and stronger than  young pine.

Hardware: The door is equipped with hardware. However, we have a good selection of period hardware in our eBay store, and tons more in our physical store.

Condition: Considering it's age, the door is in great  condition. It has the typical nicks, chips, and  scratches, but no rot, warp, broken or cracked joints, or any other serious issues. Most of the blemishes that it has will disappear after sanding, prior to refinishing or repainting, and whatever remains will be subtle, "character marks."

Swing:  The  door is set up to swing into a room towards the left, or out towards the right.  We could change the swing of the door--message us   for a quote

Modification: Do you want to replace the panels with glass, screen/mesh, or something else? We could modify the doors to fit your opening or suite your needs. We could make a frame, trim or add to the height or width, reverse the swing, plug the hardware holes, etc. Email us with a small description of what you would like done, and we'll give you a quote.
