4 available 30"x77" Antique Vintage Old Reclaimed Salvaged Interior Wood Wooden Doors 5 Panels

Elegant, antique interior doors salvaged from an old home in Northeastern, PA. The doors are made of solid Douglas fir or pine and have 5 raised panels on both sides. All of the doors are painted on both sides.

When most people hear "pine" they think of a cheap, weak, soft   wood. New pine hewn from 10 - 20 year old trees don't have   the same insect-resistant, rot-resistant, or even fire-resistant qualities   that old pine, hewn from trees hundreds of years old  have. Old pine is also   much harder and stronger than young pine.

Hardware: No hardware  included, however, we have a good selection of period hardware in our eBay store, and tons more in our  physical store.

Uneven Height: The height of Door#2 was unevenly cut by 1/4". The width of Door#3 and the height of Door#4 were unevenly cut by 3/8".  The cuts were most likely made to  accommodate a warped floor or sagging foundation. We could cut any  of the doors to an even height/width, or cut them narrower/shorter, or even  build them up to be wider/taller--message us for a quote.

Condition: The doors have nicks and scratches, but no broken or cracked joints, rot, warp, or any other  serious issues. Door#2 has a small break on the top corner of the interior lock-stile (see 6th photo). Door#4 has a small break on the bottom corner of the interior lock-stile (see 11th photo) and a split panel (see last photo). Expansion and contraction occurs naturally due to changes in temperature, and  the cracks are just a result of this process over the course of many years. It  may sound funny, but when the panels expanded and reached their limits within  their openings or frames; they were unable to stretch out any further, and  ultimately cracked in the center to relieve their stress or tension.

Otherwise, all of the doors are strong, sturdy, and in great structural condition and most of the blemishes that they have will disappear after sanding, prior to refinishing or repainting, and whatever remains will be subtle, "character marks".

Modification: Do you want to make a pair using 2 of these doors? Do you want to replace the panels  with glass, screen/mesh, or something else? We could modify the doors to fit  your opening or suite your needs. We could make a frame, trim or add to the  height or width, reverse the swing, plug the hardware holes, etc. Email us with  a small description of what you would like done, and we'll give you a quote.
