Handsome, antique, interior doors salvaged from an old Victorian home built in the late  1800's in Northeastern PA. They're made of solid Douglas Fir or pine, and are painted on both sides.

When most people hear "pine" they think of a cheap, weak, soft   wood. New pine   hewn from 10 - 20 year old trees don't have   the same insect-resistant, rot-resistant, or even fire-resistant  qualities   that  old pine, hewn from trees hundreds of years old  have. Old pine is also   much harder and stronger than young pine.

The doors have a Victorian style, 6-panel arrangement with 4 vertical and 2  horizontal panels. The panels are raised on both sides.

Hardware: No door is equipped with any hardware.  However, we have a good selection of hardware to outfit them (check out our eBay  store).

Uneven Height:
The height of Door#2 of was unevenly cut by 3/8". The cuts were most likely made to accommodate a warped floor or sagging foundation. We could cut any  of the doors to an even height/width, or cut them narrower/shorter, or even  build them up to be wider/taller--message us for a quote.

Condition: Considering the doors are at least 100 years old, they are  strong, sturdy   and in great condition. They only have nicks  and scratches, but no rot,  warp, broken/cracked joints, or any other serious issues. Most of the blemishes that they have will disappear  after sanding, prior to refinishing or repainting, and whatever remains will be  subtle, "character marks".

Modification: Want to use 2 of these doors to make a pair? Do you want to replace any of the wooden panels with glass? Do you need a door taller/shorter or wider/narrower? Do you want to change the swing or just plug the hardware holes with solid wood so that you could install your own hardware? Email us with a small description of what you would like done, and we'll give you a quote.
