Robust, antique, interior pocket door salvaged from an 1880's home in Doylestown, PA (see last 2 photos). The door is made of solid Douglas fir and has 6 raised panels arranged in a Queen Anne style, six long over six short, vertical panels. The door is painted on both sides. Notice the panels have square corners, and chamfered edges and with larks tongue ends.

Although the door was used as a pocket door that slid into a wall, it is set up to also be used as a barn door that slides on a track outside of the wall. It can also be converted into a swinging door to use as a massive front door (I've seen one this size before)--message us for a quote.

Hardware: The door is only equipped with and edge-pull/lock. However, we have a good selection of period hardware to outfit the door (check out the "Hardware" section of our store).

Condition:
The door is strong, sturdy, and in excellent structural condition. It only has nicks and scratches which will disappear after sanding, prior to refinishing or repainting, and whatever remains will be subtle, "character marks." There are no broken or cracked joints, gouges, rot, warp, or any other serious issues.

The only quirk that we could point out to are the 1/8" wide gaps between top of the rails between the panels and the top rail (see last photo). These are no structurally threatening just a cosmetic blemish. They are even covered on one side by paint. The gaps could be filled with putty prior to repainting.
