Grand, antique, door push plate made by, "Sargent & Co." of New Haven, CT around the turn of the previous century. It's made of solid, heavy, thick, cast bronze, not stamped (pressed) brass or plated steel/iron. As an added bonus, we're also including the original, bronze, installation screws.

The plate has rounded corners and beveled edges. Its simple design is accentuated by a lovely, original patina. If you prefer your hardware clean and shiny, we could clean and polish the plate prior to shipping for an additional $15--email us if you are interested.

The beauty and quality of this plate is only matched by its superb condition! Considering that the piece was probably touched thousands of times, it only has the typical tiny nicks and light scratches that you would expect to find on 100+ year old hardware. However, there are no breaks, chips, cracks, gouges, or deep scratches.
