* Shipping prices to the Northeastern states may be significantly lower than the flat rate price we have to ship to all parts of the country. Read the "Shipping" section below for more information.
* Although there are 5 doors available, the list price is for 1 door only. If you are planning on buying only 1 door please message us to let us know which door you'd like. The first 4 photos show Door#1, the next 4 photos after that show Door#2, next 3 show Door#3, next 4 show Door#4, and last 5 show Door#5
* Please note that the 30"x77" in the title is just an estimate. None of the doors are exactly that size. Please see "Dimensions" below.
Sturdy, antique interior doors salvaged from a 1913 home in Western Long Island. The doors are made of solid Douglas fir and have 5 recessed (flat panels on both sides. All of the doors are painted on both sides.
Hardware: No hardware included, however, we have a good selection of hardware in our online store, and tons more in our physical store.
* If you would like any of the hardware holes plugged with solid wood, please email us for a quote.
Quirks and Considerations: Doors#1, 2, and 5 have a panel with a crack in its paint running through the center (see close up photos). Since wood expands and contracts naturally and the panels are confined within their openings, when they expand, they press up against the walls of their openings and this disturbs the paint (especially in the center where there is the most tension). The wood contracts back to normal but unless the panel is sanded and repainted, the crack remains in the paint as a scar.
The heights of Doors#2, 4, and 5 and the width of Door#4 were unevenly cut by 1/4". We could cut any door to an even height/width, cut it shorter/narrower, or even build it up to make it wider/taller--message us for a quote.
Condition: The doors have nicks and scratches, but no broken or cracked joints, rot, warp, or any other serious issues.
All of the doors are strong, sturdy, and in great structural condition and most of the blemishes that they have will disappear after sanding, prior to refinishing or repainting, and whatever remains will be subtle, "character marks".
Modification: Do you want to make a pair using any 2 of these doors? Do you want us to change the swing? We could modify the doors to fit your opening or suite your needs. Trim or add to the heights or widths, reverse the swing, plug the hardware holes, etc. Email us with a small description of what you would like done, and we'll give you a quote.
